Where is everyone? I'm not going to try to be all smart and insightful. This is the emergency hookup for anyone who needs to talk about sobriety, weekends, family, trips, pets, pen pals, gardens, clogged drains, career choices, you name it. All are welcome - jump in and talk about anything you want.
We have a main thread on the regular Sober Recovery website (this site is kind of an Emergency backup site.) If you don't see much activity here, that's why. You'll find us in the Newcomers section over there, too.
Hey! Regulars from SR: C'mon in. I miss you and your shenanigans. The regular site has been down for 12ish hours. Parts of it are working and it's possible to read, but we can't talk. That's what we do. Addicts being separated from their favorite site?! Say it isn't so. Unable to talk about ourselves? Wait, what?!

At first I thought my broadband connection was faulty when trying to check in this morning. I have found a lack of weekenders to check in on today rather disconcerting! Checking in has become a daily ritual now. I felt lost without it!

Something bit me. Multiple times. I am blaming lunar and his minions. It's summmer so I am wearing um. . .less to bed. Something found my tender white skin and now I can't stop scratching all these little bumps. All I can think of is that huge spider nest I knocked off the window in the bedroom and that those million babies are now seeking revenge. Some of them survived and now they're mutant biting something-or-others.
I found some GoldBond lotion. That seems to be helping. I'll bet more coffee would help, too.
Coffee helps everything.
Someone let me know if they notice the SR site is back up?

Boss caught wind that I am home and I have my laptop here, so now I am working from home until I officially go back Monday. I need SR for relief from programming! Been at it all morning with no SR to save me!
